Derek James Byrne graduated from the Stetson University College of Law in 2010, where he enjoyed a thorough training in trial advocacy. Those skills were further developed and refined over the years he spent litigating in the Tampa Bay area, including marital/family law, commercial litigation, personal injury, probate litigation, and real estate. In 2015, Derek fulfilled a lifetime dream when he established his first law office as a solo practitioner. In 2018, he joined forces with Andrew Mallory to form Byrne Mallory, PLLC, a general practice law firm.
Attorney Byrne’s litigation experience includes high stakes wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, intellectual property, collection, and complex family law cases. Mr. Byrne is also experienced in collaborative divorce, which is becoming more and more popular in Florida.
Mr. Byrne is proud to be one of the few attorneys in our region who have developed a successful general practice. This diverse experience allows Mr. Byrne to find creative and efficient solutions for his clients.
