Justin Haenlein was born in Northport, Michigan and was raised in Austin, Texas and Colorado Springs, Colorado. He attained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Denver in 2000 and his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 2003.
Mr. Haenlein is admitted to practice law in State and Federal courts in Colorado. During his first two years of practice, he worked as an associate for Stephen W. Monks, P.C., a general practice law firm located in Limon, Colorado specializing in criminal law, bankruptcy, real estate, and civil litigation.
In order to offer better service to his clients, he then formed Haenlein Law Firm, LLC in July of 2007, where he continues to practice law in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area as well as on Colorado’s eastern plains. Personal service and helping those in need remains an important part of Attorney Haenlein’s practice.
In addition to his private practice, he represents indigent defendants in criminal cases as an Alternate Defense Counsel. An alternate Defense Counsel is a private attorney who is appointed to represent a criminal defendant when the public Defender’s office has a conflict in a case.
In addition to allowing Attorney Justin Haenlein to help those in need, this arrangement has also given him extensive experience in criminal matters, including a wealth of felony case experience. Mr. Haenlein also represents indigent parents in Dependency & Neglect actions.
