Biography

After graduating from Wake Forest Law School in 1970, Michael J. Lewis began his practice in the Triad area. Early in his career, he obtained record verdicts in several North Carolina counties, leading him to focus his practice on personal injury law and eminent domain. As a lawyer, Michael creates a special bond with each of his clients. He enjoys solving problems and finding the best answer for his clients. His clients find him caring and interested in their well being. Since 1995, Mike Lewis has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in Personal Injury Litigation. Attorney Marchuk is a founding partner at Lanzillotti Gribben & Marchuk. With more than 40 years of legal experience representing individuals, corporations, and governmental agencies, Bob concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, workers compensation, probate and general civil litigation, as well as residential real estate and estate planning. Top Verdicts and Settlements

Bob has litigated many record-setting verdicts and settlements. In one of his recent cases, a $2.5 million settlement was reached in favor of the family of an 89 year-old father who died after the vehicle he was driving was struck by a school bus. Bob was able to demonstrate through video and depositions that the bus driver’s version of events did not match the evidence.

Bob’s other successes include:

$350 thousand settlement on behalf of a 40-year-old woman whose arm was scratched by a cat and required extensive surgery to repair.

Education and Associations

Attorney Marchuk is a graduate of Morton West High School in Berwyn, Illinois, and he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Monmouth College. Bob played colligate football. Bob earned his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1974. Bob is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and, since 1977, has served as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

Biography

I have been in practice since 1975. My practice is limited to representing the victims of serious personal injury throughout the state of Michigan. While we represent individuals injured in auto,truck and motorcycle accidents, dog bites, and workers compensation claims, over the past 25 years I have concentrated my practice in representing victims of construction site accidents. This would include falls on construction sites, injuries caused by the negligence of a general contractor, property owner, or other trade or subcontractor. We have had great success in prosecuting crane and forklift injury claims. We represent people, who have been injured by dangerous construction related and consumer products.

Biography

Attorney Michael M. Myers created and authored the legal theory and arguments in West v. East Tennessee Pioneer Oil Co., 172 S.W.3d 545 (Tenn. 2005), an important case in which the Tennessee Supreme Court expanded the duty of care owed to reasonably foreseeable third parties under negligence and negligent entrustment theories.

Laura’s published work on negligent infliction of emotional distress injuries has been cited and relied upon by the Tennessee Supreme Court in Estate of Julie Amos et al. v. Vanderbilt University et al., 62 S.W.3d 133 (Tenn. 2001). Our philosophy of legal practice is to prepare each client’s case for trial with aggressive, diligent, unrelenting legal representation.

We prepare for trial, not case settlements. In the course of trial preparation, many cases do settle prior to trial, but we think case settlement is a function of diligent, through trial preparation, and not a destination in and of itself. We are ready to try cases, and we do try cases. We’ve seen over and over that cases that are thoroughly and creatively pursued, prepared, and built from day one, are the best way to achieve maximum recovery results for our clients.
